Location: Chennai

Education

Essential: Educational Qualification; LLB (5 years integrated course or 3 years Law)
Desirable: LLM (2 Years)

Experience: 6 – 8 Years of litigation experience or more

Skills

Essential:

Bachelor’s in Law (LLB) with 6-8 years of significant litigation experience.
Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
Expert knowledge of Indian laws and legal precedents.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
Business development and client retention skills.

Preferable:

Specialization in a relevant legal area.
Experience in alternative dispute resolution.
Established a network within the legal community.

Responsibilities

Manage complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients.
Draft and review complex legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
Represent clients in court at all levels, including appellate proceedings.
Lead and supervise a team of associates and support staff.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Conduct legal training sessions for junior associates.
Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law.
